Rules & Regulations of the Chat N Chew Choo Modular Railroad Club

1. Members must abide by all rules of any establishment where the club has a scheduled event.
2. Members must maintain conduct becoming a club member at all events and meetings.
3. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are permitted at any event without the prior approval of the board of directors.
4. No firearms or other weapons are permitted at club meetings or events
5. There is a $25.00 Entry Fee for new members only - not required for second family member. 6. Club Dues are due the first of the month following membership approval. Each eligible member must join SCOPE if not already a member. (Scope Dues are $12.00/year) - (Current Club Dues are $10.00/month.)
7. Members may miss meetings if necessary as long as they make their modules available for events where their modules are required to complete the loop of are necessary for the event.
Should a member decide to quit the club they will maintain possession of their module(s). However, no monies paid to the club for parts, dues, or assessments will be returned regardless of how long they have been a member.
7. There are to be no raised voices over disputes at any event. All issues will be discussed calmly and rationally. In the event an issue is not resolved it will go to the board of directors and, if appropriate, to the membership for vote. Loud conduct is embarrassing to the club and may result in our not being invited to return for future events.
8. Any member may be removed for just cause by unanimous vote of the board of directors or 2/3 majority vote of the membership. In the event a member is voted out of the club, it will be handled the same as a quit.
9. Respect for all club and/or individual member's property is mandatory. Always request permission to handle another member's property.
10. Members must be 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who is a member in good standing. In this case a junior membership will be issued.
